iTunes App Store or Android Market

iTunes App Store

Have you ever been to a store that is so unorganized you get a headache and just want to leave? Unfortunately, many android app seekers are having that problem. The obvious reason is that there are so many free app developers competing then the second reason is that the Android Market interface is like it was put together by the 2 year old children of Google developers at the Google Daycare. It isn’t that the Android Market is ugly and it isn’t that it is too complicated, it really is just a matter of the content overwhelming a terribly inept organizational system.

Android Market

iTunes App store doesn’t have as many problems in organization as the Android Market because iTunes mainly deals with paid apps. Less bombardment from developers and Apple has a higher quality control ranking that Android. The iTunes App store does have one problem though and that’s the nearly impossible way to locate it through a search.

Apps

Once you do eventually find the iTunes App store you end up having to log into iTunes. Apple needs to make their store more accessible. The Android Market just needs a complete overhaul and asap before the problem gets any worse.

LASERS FREE iPhone

I really say this game is just genius. To strengthen my previous sentence I will tell you the number of downloads so far: over 1 MILION and counting! This really fun game has 50 levels + 15 bonus levels and more will be made. It has been said that this game is a favorite of the Apple Staff and in many countries  it has reached a place in the Top 10 Puzzle Games.

It is very easy to play, extremely addicting, entertaining and challenging too, with a very nice design. Shortly, you can’t ask anything else from this game. It’s a lovely surprise for the puzzle game fans and enjoyable for its brain-twisting diversion.

It is a puzzle game that makes you to think different than other games. The laser’s light must be redirected to go through all the diamonds on the screen. Tap and drag the nodes to bend the light to activate all the diamonds. Some nodes can’t be moved, and then you will have to find another alignment to pass the level.

A big plus from me towards this game is that you can listen to your own music in the background, and you don’t have to quit the game to change the song and such, you can bring up the iPod controls while in-game by tapping twice the home button. I have to send a big thanks to the advertisers because they made this cool game free because it’s an ad supported game.

JellyCar 3 iPhone App

In the third game of the series the Disney staff expanded the awesomeness of the previous games in this title and made a greater game, even if the concept is still the same, and that’s very good. In Jelly Car 3 you take your “jelly” car and maneuver it to the end of the stage. Even if the “jelly” part is a bit exaggerated, it’s still fun.

When the car will bounce in contact with any surface. You’ve got power-ups(balloon to float, sticky tires to travel upside down etc.), 50 new levels, I say new because the rest are from the other JC games, with more and more obstacles, you can customize the car and make it unique.

One of the bad parts of this sequel is that the level editor, that was present in the previous version, now has disappeared. Why? I don’t know either. It is a big minus from me towards this game. Even if it’s 2D graphics are not outstanding at all, the game is still fun.

The game has an update that include 2 new cars, import/export custom designs of the cars via photo roll, 3 new levels and a ghost racing feature. The ghost racing feature is a plus from me and balances with the minus given from the level editor.

So, even if you are waiting at a long line to buy something, in the bus and you’re bored, and in the classroom and don’t want to pay attention to that babbling teacher, JC3 is the best game you can play to kill some time. And it’s cheap too!

Best Applications iPhone NBA Elite 11

Who would have thought that a 5-on-5 game could look so awesome on such a small screen? I’m a huge basketball fan, and just can’t get enough during the season. Once it’s over, I’m scrambling to find a way to fuel my hobby. This app has definitely helped fill the hole, especially since I can take it anywhere! The number of players and teams available are over-the-top, and the fact that you can change the difficulty level makes it that much more challenging.

It’s definitely worth the small fee! There’s even a shoot-out mode where you can pick any players in the NBA to have a 3-point match up. Awesome graphics, unlimited game play, easy controls, and the best sport out there make a winning combination for any hoops fan. You’ll never get bored playing this one, especially since you can’t predict the outcomes! Way to go NBA Elite 11!

Best Applications iPhone Bird Zapper

This application is quickly becoming my 8 year old daughter’s favorite game on her iPod Touch. She got an iTunes gift card for her recent birthday, and instead of using it to purchase songs like we thought she would, she used it to download several games. I was a little weary about this at first, especially with so many free apps out there, but she made me play it one day, and now we are both hooked!

It’s a great way to spend time when we are waiting at restaurants or the doctor’s offices. We compete against ech other to see who can get the highest score, and love to giggle at the story line and characters expressions. It’s obvious who plays this game the most; my daughter makes my score look pathetic with all the points she’s scored!
